Role Description

The VP of Cloud Ops reports directly to the Chief Delivery Officer and owns the Cloud, Security, and IT teams. The candidate is a proven technology leader who will be responsible for managing all development, test, and production environments for both clients and internal stakeholders – in a secure, robust, and performant fashion. This role will focus on delivering excellence when it comes to system uptime, change management, cost-effectiveness, disaster recovery, business continuity, security, and compliance IT infrastructure. The role will contribute directly to maximizing enterprise value through three key levers: 1) materially increase productivity and scale of the cloud team, 2) materially increase the quality and reliability of the production environments, and 3) achieve improved customer profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Continuously enhance the security and compliance of production environments, implementing best practices and new security measures
Ensure high availability of cloud services, maintaining reliable and continuous access to cloud-based resources and applications
Develop and implement a robust system for tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance accountability across the organization
Build and evolve scalable IT operations and processes effectively
Manage vendor relationships effectively, from selection through to negotiating contracts, ensuring favorable terms and strategic partnerships.
