Who We Are Looking For?

We’re building our talent pool of professional Scrum Masters for upcoming client projects. This is not an active position tied to a current project, but a proactive opportunity to become part of our expert network at SPACE44. When a suitable project arises, you'll be among the first we reach out to.

We’re always on the lookout for professionals who bring deep Agile delivery expertise, strong client-facing facilitation skills, and a coaching mindset to inspire cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion Agile values and practices, educating and guiding teams and stakeholders

• Lead Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

• Support teams in adopting async-first collaboration methods and tools to improve delivery flow in distributed environments

• Mentor team members, product owners, and stakeholders on Agile practices to foster self-organization and accountability

• Ensure consistent adherence to the Scrum framework and identify/address process impediments

• Proactively identify and resolve obstacles; collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks

• Track team progress, velocity, and communicate metrics (e.g., DORA, cycle time) to stakeholders

• Continuously coach teams toward a culture of ownership, delivery accountability, and continuous improvement aligned with SPACE44 and client expectations

• Foster transparency and facilitate effective communication within and across teams

• Support the adoption of Agile engineering practices to improve delivery quality and innovation

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban

• Experience leading remote-first, cross-functional teams

• Hands-on use of Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tracking tools

• Understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills

• Ability to communicate clearly across product, engineering, and leadership teams

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate Scrum and Agile processes in client-facing contexts with diverse stakeholders

• Sufficient technical fluency to collaborate effectively with Engineers, QA, and DevOps on delivery and process improvement topics

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with SAFe, LeSS, or other scaled Agile frameworks

• Technical background or previous development/QA/DevOps experience

• Experience working in outsourced or multi-vendor Agile team setups

• Product Owner or Change Management background in Agile transformations
