Who are you? / About You
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Skimmer’s integration strategy and platform. This role is responsible for defining and scaling our public API, building and managing partnerships for third-party integrations, and designing a robust, strategic integration layer to support Skimmer’s growth across verticals.
You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure our integration strategy aligns with customer needs and business goals.
Reporting to the Austin-based VP of Product, this role can be in Austin, TX or remote.
What you'll do
Own the Skimmer Public API: Define the roadmap and execution plan for our public API, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and well-documented for third-party developers and partners.
Drive Integration Strategy: Establish a long-term strategic vision for the Skimmer integration layer, including internal architecture and external extensibility across vertical platforms (e.g., CRMs, accounting, billing, field service tools).
Third-Party Integrations: Lead evaluation, planning, and delivery of key integrations with strategic partners, from early discovery to rollout.
Customer & Partner Collaboration: Collaborate directly with external stakeholders—partners, developers, and customers—to gather feedback, validate use cases, and drive adoption.
Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering to define technical requirements and ensure seamless execution. Work with go-to-market teams to launch integrations and support adoption.
Ecosystem Growth: Contribute to Skimmer’s broader ecosystem strategy, supporting monetization, extensibility, and developer enablement initiatives.
Metrics & Impact: Define KPIs for integrations and measure success through usage analytics, reliability, and partner feedback.
Your Experience
Experience leading development teams with a specific focus on APIs and integrations.
Strong technical fluency—able to work closely with engineering on architecture, APIs, and data flows.
Proven success leading platform or ecosystem solutions in a SaaS environment.
Experience launching public APIs or developer-facing platforms.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strategic thinker with a bias toward action and delivering customer value.
Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complexity and align diverse teams.
