As we continue to expand in the APAC region, we are looking for a Sales Development Manager to drive pipeline growth, lead generation, and outbound prospecting efforts, ensuring our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are successful in generating demand for Sinch’s enterprise solutions.

 

The Sales Development Manager will lead and develop a team of both inbound and outbound Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), driving pipeline for the Sales team. This role is responsible for optimizing SDR processes, ensuring high lead conversion rates, and executing demand generation strategies to accelerate pipeline growth.  You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to refine lead qualification criteria, enhance outreach strategies, and improve sales engagement metrics. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a passion for coaching, process improvement, and demand generation in a high-growth B2B SaaS/CPaaS environment.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Inbound & Outbound SDRs, ensuring they meet performance targets.
  • Develop a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and fostering professional growth.
  • Own MQL & SQL generation goals, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality leads into the sales pipeline.
  • Oversee inbound lead qualification, ensuring fast response times and effective nurturing.
  • Develop and refine outbound prospecting strategies, equipping SDRs with the right messaging and tactics to engage key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to optimize ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns, webinar follow-ups, and event-driven lead outreach.
  • Implement data-driven lead qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, etc.) to improve conversion rates.
  • Define SDR KPIs (e.g., response times, conversion rates, meetings booked, pipeline contribution) and continuously optimize performance.
  • Work with Revenue Operations to improve CRM hygiene, automation, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with Product & Enablement Teams to ensure SDRs are well-equipped with knowledge of Sinch’s solutions and competitive positioning.

 

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in sales development, business development, or demand generation within a B2B SaaS or CPaaS environment.
  • Expereince leading SDR or BDR teams, with a track record of driving pipeline growth.
  • Familiarity with lead qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, etc.) and sales engagement tools like Salesforce, Outreach, or HubSpot.
  • Understanding of ABM, outbound prospecting, and inbound lead conversion best practices.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop and support a high-performing team.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to track and optimize sales metrics and pipeline trends.
  • Collaborative approach, able to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
