Job Description

Director, Outbound Product Management. Data and Analytics Product Ecosystem

We seek a Director of Outbound Product Management for Data and Analytics Product Ecosystem to manage our Product vision and relationships with our expanding set of technology partners in the Data and Analytics Ecosystem, and to co-define and execute our product strategy with these partners, to make ServiceNow a leader in Data and Analytics marketplace.

You will be responsible for setting the vision and the partner product strategy that combines ServiceNow’s product portfolio with partner products in collaboration with inbound and outbound product managers for individual product areas, and executing this strategy working cross functionally with product management, engineering, product marketing, business development, corporate development and field sales to drive value for ServiceNow, our customers and our partners.

This is a unique opportunity to manage the product strategy with a broad ecosystem of partners and go deep with a select set of partners where we can form strategic relationships.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Establish deep relationships with technology partners in the Data and Analytics ecosystem.
  • Be a though leader in the Data and Analytics space within ServiceNow and externally.
  • Establish the vision, partner integration and solution strategy and related build/buy/partner strategy and investments needed for ServiceNow to maximize the value of our Data and Analytics technology ecosystem with a focus to grow and scale the business. 
  • Advocate for Engineering and GTM resources to execute your partnership vision and strategy. 
  • Co-Create blueprints and definitions for joint solutions with ServiceNow inbound product management and engineering.
  • Creatively define solutions and integrations with partners that would maximize value of ServiceNow and Partner solutions for customers, while preserving and enhancing competitive differentiation for ServiceNow.
  • Be a strong communicator, presenter and evangelize our product vision and joint solution strategy with our key strategic technology partners and steer/drive partners towards ServiceNow recommended frameworks.
  • Partner with our global field organization to maximize NNACV and CACV by creating solution assets and drive outbound awareness for joint solutions with the help of product marketing of these partner-influenced or dependent solutions.
  • In partnership with product leadership, create recommendations for deeper strategic engagements with select partners, including, but not limited to strategic investments, inbound or outbound OEM relationships and M&A. Be able to co-create a strong analytical business case with the what, the why and the how for joint investment where necessary to drive incremental outcomes.
  • Track the competitive landscape and industry trends and adjust our technology partnership strategy across our portfolio as necessary, to maintain and maximize our differentiation.  

 

Qualifications

Qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise hi-tech software with 6+ years of enterprise Data Platforms, Data Integration or Data Analytics technology experience as a product manager, product strategy lead, or solution consultant.
  • Domain expertise with deep understanding of data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Fabric, Amazon Redshift is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform and current applications portfolio, and the associated competitive and partner landscape is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the broad IT technology landscape. Knowledge of and experience in executing based on industry trends, competitive landscape, and whitespace opportunities. 
  • Highly collaborative. Ability to manage, influence and drive change cross-functionally.  Exhibit drive, hunger, and humility. Be a driver, not a passenger.
  • Be creative and be ready to roll-up your sleeves to get things done by building relationships, demonstrating value and sharing expertise.
  • Be detail oriented - know the details and own the outcomes.
  • Ability to paint a compelling vision to inspire teams and senior stakeholders 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a bias for crisp narratives through documents, powerpoints and emails.

  

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $217,500 - $380,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
