Summary/Objective  

  

The FP&A Analyst will support decision making and improve business performance by providing access to and analysis of data.  They will learn about operating a fast-growing company as well as be exposed to information security topics. 

  

Essential Functions

  • Perform data analyses and build reports to support decision making. 
  • Focus on quality improvement and data management.  
  • Integrate and analyze data from various sources. 
  • Research and identify new tools to support ongoing process improvement  
  • Provide administrative support to SRA’s Consulting and Business Operations teams, including ad hoc analysis and reporting  
  • Assist the FP&A team with quarterly/monthly companywide analysis and reporting  
  • Develop a deep understanding of company operations, KPIs, and performance.

This job operates in a professional office environment or remotely as needed/required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work  

  

This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.  

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in data or financial analysis. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or similar field, or equivalent experience.  
  • R programming skills with experience in data manipulation and transformation; comfortable working with large amounts of data to produce clean, analysis-ready datasets and data visualizations. 
  • Proficient in Excel; capable of building dynamic models for forecasting, scenario analyses, and budgeting. 
  • Commitment to be curious. 
  • Excellent attention to detail.  
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills.  
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.  
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.  
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and flexible within changing environment  
  • Punctuality and timely attendance to external client and internal stakeholder needs. 

   

Preferred Qualifications and Experience  

  

  • Experience with Power Automate or similar automation tools. 
  • Experience with PowerBI. 
  • Background in data science.
