About the Opportunity

Our client is a U.S.-based manufacturer renowned for engineering high-precision electro-pneumatic pressure and flow control solutions. Their customizable regulators, transducers, and proportional control products are widely used in sectors such as aerospace, life sciences, food packaging, test & measurement, and semiconductor fabrication.

They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the California territory. This is a remote role designed for a consultative technical salesperson who enjoys engaging with engineers, OEMs, and system integrators on complex control applications.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and grow a defined regional sales territory across California
  • Build trusted relationships with OEMs, engineering teams, integrators, and automation buyers
  • Identify customer application requirements and recommend tailored product solutions
  • Manage the entire sales process from discovery through close
  • Partner with internal engineering resources to support custom configurations
  • Attend trade shows, conduct in-person demos, and maintain a visible regional presence
  • Provide regular sales reporting and market insights to leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of sales experience in pneumatics, automation, instrumentation, or pressure/flow control
  • Proven success managing a large regional territory and growing accounts
  • Strong technical background and ability to sell to engineering teams
  • Familiar with OEM sales cycles and application-based selling
  • Willing and able to travel throughout California (up to 50%)
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to operate independently
  • Bonus: Knowledge of electro-pneumatic or proportional valve technologies

Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: Competitive and based on experience
  • Commission Plan: Uncapped performance-based commission
  • OTE Range: $120,000–$150,000+
