Job Description
Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. The Opportunity:
We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Associate Director, Information Sciences (IS) – Market Access Solutions to lead the digital enablement of our Market Access and Patient Services initiatives. This role will serve as a senior business technology partner to the Commercial Development Market Access team and related functions, translating business needs into scalable, cross-functional technology solutions that support patient access, payer and provider engagement, and digital transformation across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the digital roadmap for Market Access capabilities, overseeing multi-functional platform implementations, leading cross-functional teams, and integrating patient-centric technology strategies into our broader Commercial ecosystem. This position is critical in aligning IT investments with business outcomes to improve therapy access and optimize the patient journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnership & Technology Leadership

Serve as the primary IS leader and strategic advisor to the Market Access and Patient Services organizations, including executive stakeholders in Commercial Development and broader cross-functional partners (e.g., Medical, Analytics, Finance).

Lead the development and execution of a multi-year digital roadmap for Market Access platforms, including HUB services, copay program analytics, patient onboarding, benefits verification, and case management tools.

Shape and execute digital strategies that improve payer engagement, provider enablement, patient access, and real-world evidence utilization.
Enterprise Integration & Innovation

Integrate Market Access capabilities into enterprise platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce, analytics/data warehouses) to create seamless data flows and actionable insights.

Drive enterprise-level initiatives, including implementation of emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation, digital engagement) to enhance payer, provider, and patient experience.

Represent Market Access IT in enterprise steering committees, cross-functional governance forums, and strategic program reviews.
People Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence

Lead cross-functional project teams and third-party vendors responsible for delivering Market Access and Patient Services technologies.

Mentor and develop junior IS professionals, business analysts, and consultants supporting digital access initiatives.

Serve as an internal thought leader, promoting best practices in platform design, capability deployment, and agile delivery.
Operational Excellence & Change Enablement

Oversee the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of Market Access systems, ensuring operational readiness, business continuity, and compliance.

Lead organizational change management efforts to ensure effective system adoption and user engagement across business teams.

Partner with internal stakeholders to track KPIs, system performance, and user satisfaction while identifying new optimization opportunities.
External Collaboration & Strategic Vendor Management

Lead selection, implementation, and lifecycle management of Market Access technology vendors.

Ensure platforms are designed for long-term scalability and regulatory compliance in a GxP environment.

Maintain external awareness of emerging trends, vendor capabilities, and best practices to continuously advance Market Access technology maturity.
Required Skills , Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

10+ years of progressive experience in IT Business Partnering, IT Strategy, or Program Leadership within the life sciences industry, with a minimum of 3+ years supporting Market Access, HUB operations, or Patient Services.

Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives tied to Commercial launch, access strategy, or patient engagement.

Deep understanding of CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce), payer/provider systems, analytics platforms, and integration methods.

Strong vendor management, project delivery, and stakeholder communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional business leaders and steer complex initiatives in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience leading platform implementations supporting HUB operations, digital onboarding, patient access, and case management.

Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics and their application to access optimization or payer engagement.

Knowledge of oncology commercialization or rare disease patient access challenges.

Experience designing digital solutions that align with GxP, HIPAA, and data privacy standards.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $225,000 for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training. Please note that base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
