Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented Customs & Customer Experience Specialist to join our team. You will play a key role in managing customs documentation and compliance processes while ensuring excellent service delivery by managing customer inquiries, processing orders and supporting our internal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and ensure compliance of all customs documentation for shipments (including declarations, certificates of origin)
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth customs clearance
- Coordinate with the shipper and freight forwarders to obtain required documents
- Manage customer communications via phone and email with professionalism and empathy
- Process orders promptly and accurately, providing regular updates to customers
- Identify potential sales leads and coordinate with the external Sales team
- Contact suppliers to confirm stock and pricing, ensuring transparency with clients
- Resolve customer concerns efficiently and politely
- Use technical documentation (e.g., exploded views) to identify part numbers and collaborate with the Technical team when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or degree in Economics or similar field
- Experience in customer service or sales, specifically in the GCC region
- Expertise in export processes, particularly from UAE free zones to the GCC region
- Strong customer-oriented thinking and approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer focus
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
- High level of initiative, team player and able to work independently
- Well - organized with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Proficient in MS Office; ERP knowledge is an advantage
