Back-end Developer

We are a cross-functional team of 50 experts working across geographies to drive radical transformation through design thinking and hands-on problem-solving. Over the years, we’ve partnered with some of the world’s most influential brands, including The Coca-Cola Company, Philip Morris International, L’Oréal, Nestlé, Bayer, PUIG, and more.

We are currently looking for a Mid/Senior-Level Back-end Developer with experience in PHP Laravel framework to join our team and support the development, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of web applications.  

💪 What will your day-to-day look like?

Due to our lean structure, you will be working closely with REBORRN’s makers tribe, and you will split your time and attention across the following areas:

• Developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework
• Writing high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications
• Collaborating with the team to design, develop, and deploy new features
• Staying curious about new technologies and trends in web development, and finding ways to implement them in your work

• You ideally have 3-4 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel development. Knowledge of PHP web frameworks like Symfony or CodeIgniter is a plus!
• You have experience with technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL and some familiarity with server administration.
• You have experience with Vue.js 3 and Inertia.
• You have experience with Git and version control systems and developing RESTful APIs.
• You’re ideally used to working in Agile environments, and you love searching and experimenting with new technologies and tools!
• You are good with spoken and written words and can effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts in English.
• You are a fast learner and have a “can do anything” attitude.
• You are curious by design. You always try to find better ways to do things. You experiment, and you learn by trying. You never stop looking for the correct answers.
• You are a team player. You’re not a lone wolf; your natural setup is working with others.
• Last but not least, you care. At REBORRN, we don’t accept the “that’s not my job” mentality. If someone spills coffee on the floor, you grab a mop and clean it up.
