What we're looking for 

Our US-based client, an innovative wellness brand known for its collagen-infused protein bars, is seeking a Senior AI Video Editor to craft fast-paced, scroll-stopping ads for TikTok, Meta, and YouTube. This role is essential for fueling the brand’s performance marketing engine, where creativity meets data-driven content. You’ll be working at the intersection of AI and video editing, delivering 8+ high-impact videos per week that drive conversions and engagement across social platforms.

 
Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for paid social campaigns (TikTok & Meta), with strong narrative flow and rhythm.
• Implement captions, transitions, and effects that align with platform trends and performance goals.
• Source or generate b-roll and supporting visuals, sometimes using AI tools like Sora or Midjourney.
• Translate creative briefs into polished, high-converting edits with minimal hand-holding.
• Occasionally support long-form YouTube content (roughly 20% of your workload).

• 3+ years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio of direct-to-consumer (DTC) performance ads.
• Deep understanding of social-first editing: fast cuts, music sync, mobile-native layouts, caption styles.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in the creative process (e.g., GenAI, Sora, Midjourney).
• Highly autonomous with the ability to work from briefs and iterate independently.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar editing software.

Nice to Have

• Strong visual intuition and storytelling skills tailored to social formats.
• Experience producing content optimized for both paid and organic reach.
