We're seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented sales professional with direct sales experience in either the CNC/Machine tool industry, metal additive or welding technology to champion our revolutionary Hybrid Manufacturing and Directed Energy Deposition (DED) product offerings. As a Hybrid Manufacturing Technology Sales Evangelist, you'll be a pioneer, establishing yourself as the foremost expert in Hybrid Manufacturing technology. You'll drive market adoption and exceed aggressive growth targets, becoming the go-to resource for OEMs, Contract Manufacturers, and Academic Institutions, forging strong relationships and expanding our reach. Your success will be in your hands as you develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve a 30% annual revenue increase. This involves identifying key accounts, penetrating existing markets, and creatively prospecting for new opportunities through various channels including cold calling, networking, trade shows, and collaboration with the marketing team. You will also be a key driver of the Phillips brand, embodying it and executing the brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and delivering exceptional value to our customers.
Mastering the market is crucial, and you'll develop deep market intelligence, enabling you to provide accurate sales forecasts and identify emerging trends. You'll utilize our CRM system to effectively manage accounts, track projects, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Being a trusted advisor is paramount. You'll conduct thorough needs assessments, understand customer challenges, and present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of our Hybrid and DED technologies. Providing world-class project management and building long-lasting, loyal customer relationships will be essential. Collaboration and innovation are at the heart of this role. You'll work closely with our Hybrid technical team to deepen your technical expertise and manage customer benchmark requests. Contributing to a positive team environment and continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth are expected.

You will demonstrate an insatiable curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning, continuously improving your technical, interpersonal, communication, and sales skills. Finally, you'll be driven to exceed expectations, consistently surpassing annual gross margin and unit goals, while managing expenses effectively and operating within budget.

- At least 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management, within the CNC, machine tool, additive or welding industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of industrial processes and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, in a hybrid work setting.
- Willingness to travel 25% of the year as necessary to meet client needs.
- Able to travel monthly to our office in Hanover, MD during the first 3-6 months of employment to work with the team and develop an expert understanding of the technologies and capabilities
