Job Description

Who We Are

Perchwell is the modern real estate listings platform built for agents to search smarter, collaborate better, and close deals faster. We are building the future of residential real estateʼs critical listings infrastructure: a platform where  market  research and client  collaboration converge. Our modern architecture enables continuous innovation at a pace legacy systems cannot match, with AI-powered features and mobile-first capabilities designed for how agents actually work. As consumer expectations and technology evolve, Perchwell remains focused on our core vision:  empowering real estate professionals with the most intelligent, data-driven, and connected platform in the industry.

Backed by leading venture capital firms including Lux Capital and Founders Fund, along with strategic partnerships with some of the country's top Multiple Listing Services (MLSs), Perchwell represents the first major new platform to enter the listings technology market in decades. This unique combination of institutional investment and deep industry alignment provides both the resources and market validation needed to transform the multi-trillion dollar residential real estate industry.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll play a critical role in driving the next phase of growth for Perchwell. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll tackle the company’s most complex scaling challenges by developing and operationalizing the financial and strategic infrastructure needed to 10x the business.

You’ll operate at both a high level strategic altitude and down to the details—owning core operating finance models, supporting mission critical fundraising and board initiatives, and enabling core company functions across sales, marketing, and customer success. This is an opportunity to help shape the trajectory of a fast-moving company while embedding best-in-class SaaS metrics, systems, and decision frameworks into the heart of how we operate.

What You’ll Do

  • Function as a flexible thinker with the ability to operate both at a mile-high,
strategic level, while also owning the details.

  • Build creative financial models to help direct company operations, including our
day-to-day motion, annual planning, and large investments

  • Contribute as a core member of the team driving fundraising and board efforts

  • Direct the building of core systems to enable our next phase of growth, including
supporting sales, marketing, and success teams across revenue recognition and
    CRM

  • Be a thought leader for best-in-class SaaS metrics, incorporating top-line growth,
    expansion, pricing and sales compensation

  • Spearhead emerging, new business initiatives that require business modeling and
    an analytical lens.

  • Partner cross functionally for newly emerging GTM teams in setting up their motions
by balancing trade-offs for customer needs, top-line growth and the general business

This role will work out of our New York City office in SoHo 4 days/week.

What You’ll Need

  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, startup finance, corporate
planning, VC/PE, business finance or related fields

  • A highly ambitious “roll up your sleeves” mentality and cross-functional partnership when building with other stakeholders

  • An ability to distill sophisticated business and organizational issues into structured
frameworks and develop concrete, follow up action plans

  • Deep understanding of technology/internet businesses, both for B2B and B2C
    models

  • Ability to empathize with customer problems in residential real estate, including
brokerages, agents, and end point consumers

  • Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides
