What We’re Looking For
You’ll play a critical role in driving the next phase of growth for Perchwell. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll tackle the company’s most complex scaling challenges by developing and operationalizing the financial and strategic infrastructure needed to 10x the business.
You’ll operate at both a high level strategic altitude and down to the details—owning core operating finance models, supporting mission critical fundraising and board initiatives, and enabling core company functions across sales, marketing, and customer success. This is an opportunity to help shape the trajectory of a fast-moving company while embedding best-in-class SaaS metrics, systems, and decision frameworks into the heart of how we operate.
What You’ll Do
Function as a flexible thinker with the ability to operate both at a mile-high,
strategic level, while also owning the details.Build creative financial models to help direct company operations, including our
day-to-day motion, annual planning, and large investmentsContribute as a core member of the team driving fundraising and board efforts
Direct the building of core systems to enable our next phase of growth, including
supporting sales, marketing, and success teams across revenue recognition and
CRMBe a thought leader for best-in-class SaaS metrics, incorporating top-line growth,
expansion, pricing and sales compensationSpearhead emerging, new business initiatives that require business modeling and
an analytical lens.Partner cross functionally for newly emerging GTM teams in setting up their motions
by balancing trade-offs for customer needs, top-line growth and the general business
This role will work out of our New York City office in SoHo 4 days/week.
What You’ll Need
6-8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, startup finance, corporate
planning, VC/PE, business finance or related fieldsA highly ambitious “roll up your sleeves” mentality and cross-functional partnership when building with other stakeholders
An ability to distill sophisticated business and organizational issues into structured
frameworks and develop concrete, follow up action plansDeep understanding of technology/internet businesses, both for B2B and B2C
modelsAbility to empathize with customer problems in residential real estate, including
brokerages, agents, and end point consumersStrong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides
Salary Information
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. Our ranges are based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, job-related knowledge and depth of work experience.
The base compensation range for this position is expected to be between $145,000-$185,000/year + equity + benefits.
