Requirements

As the Human Resource Generalist, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations while also supporting long-term strategic initiatives. You will assist with employee relations, benefits administration, training, performance management, and other human resources processes. This individual will lead initiatives that enhance the employee experience, support compliance, and help drive organizational success through effective HR practices. 


Tasks include but are not limited to: 

  • Take part in performance management by partnering with leadership to address employee relations matters and facilitating resolution. 
  • Develop and conduct training sessions that focus on leadership development, policy and procedure compliance, and team building. 
  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, questions, and vendor coordination. 
  • Oversee HRIS administration including but not limited to overseeing the ACA dashboard, auditing, maintenance, and training of the system. 
  • Audit of benefit billing statements on a monthly basis. 
  • 401k Administration 
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole and to improve the employees’ experience.
  • Oversee monthly and annual reports such as US Census, EEO-1, US Labor Bureau, etc. 
  • Assist with payroll processing 
  • Monitor and manage employee absences and leaves of absence. 
  • Participate in the development of department goals, objectives, and systems. 
  • Interpret and advise on employment law, policy, and best practice. 
  • Conduct in-clinic training on new and existing policies and benefits annually. 
  • Complete employment verification forms for current and former employees as needed. 
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 Years relevant human resources experience
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best business practices
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem solving skills
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
  • SHRM/PHR Certificate preferred
  • Experience with HR management software, (Paylocity preferred)
