This position requires the use of a personal vehicle during the performance of some duties, for which mileage reimbursement is made.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Orion is looking for an Employment Consultant eager to broaden their knowledge and skill sets while supporting clients in the community.

Assist a wide variety of individuals to find opportunities and build connections in their communities.
Orion is looking for an Employment Consultant who can work independently and then pivot to support and work with the team. You will get to work with individuals living with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities to allow them full access to work and be part of their community. As part of the team, you will engage individuals, families, community, and employers to allow those we support to build relationships and/or obtain/retain employment.

- Discover their gifts, talents and strengths
- Support the clients to be successful at their place of employment or activity.
You will have the opportunity to strengthen relationships with community employers, funders, community resources and referral sources, while also carrying a caseload.
Requirements
- Ability to pass background check including the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) background through Background Check Central Unit (BCCU)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test for a company with federal contracts
- Must have valid driver's license and personally insured vehicle

The hiring range for this position is $21.25 per hour to $30.75 per hour, depending upon experience.

- Frequent use of hands and fingers to reach, manipulate, handle, and hold material
- Frequent use of vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and spatial relationship
- Frequent use of hearing ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
- Frequent use of speaking ability to express or exchange ideas, communicate detailed information, or convey instructions
- Frequent lifting of 5 or 10 pounds, with occasional lifting to 35 pounds
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing shop floor, requiring use of Safety Glasses
- Infrequent exposure to excess noise levels, necessitating the use of Hearing Protection
