Job Summary/Objective:
This individual will be responsible for the execution of healthcare professional (HCP) marketing strategies for VALTOCO, in addition to supporting consumer, digital, and market access marketing initiatives. This is a high-impact, hands-on role, reporting directly to the Marketing Director.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support the development and execution of HCP marketing strategies and tactical plans for VALTOCO.
- Support the execution of consumer, digital, and market access marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Training, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and Market Access teams.
- Ensure timely development, approval, and deployment of promotional materials through the MLR process.
- Work closely with external agencies and vendors to deliver on key marketing projects.
- Analyze market data, customer insights, and sales performance to inform marketing strategies.
- Support the planning and execution of national sales meetings and POA meetings.

Office Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Spends approximately 90% of work time sitting and meeting with others or working at a desk and/or computer. Spends approximately 10% of work time standing or walking within the work area or at meetings and bends, twists, stoops and reaches. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. The noise level is usually moderate.
Travel Requirements:
- Position based in San Diego. Not remote.
- Ability to travel up to 25%

Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years in pharmaceutical marketing.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and promotional review processes.
