Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team who is a collaborative team member with a strong commitment to finding solutions. You’ll be the go-to team member for employee-related systems transactions and a critical player in keeping our HR world spinning smoothly. From onboarding new hires to conducting new employee orientation to supporting big HR initiatives – if you love a mix of people, data, and purpose, this role is for you!

What you’ll be doing…

You’ll be an essential part of the HR team, helping our employees and leaders with a wide range of needs, such as:

  • Managing all the important “people data” in SAP – new hires, promotions, pay changes, exits, and more
  • Running reports like a pro (weekly, monthly, and sometimes with quick turnaround needs)
  • Supporting payroll, benefits, and disability cases with accuracy and care
  • Helping employees get answers to HR-related questions in a timely manner
  • Partnering with HR leaders to support performance, succession, and compensation planning
  • Welcoming our new hires by coordinating and facilitating our Warm Welcome program (includes playing games, presenting to large groups and engaging the audience)
  • Keeping org charts fresh and accurate
  • Bringing energy to employee engagement activities – think appreciation events, surprises, and celebrations
  • Crafting employee communications in collaboration with HR, Comms, and Facilities
  • Pitching in on special projects and bringing creative ideas to life
  • Handling confidential info with grace and professionalism

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 2+ years of HR work experience (or related field)
  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook skills
  • Experience with SAP or another HRIS is a huge plus
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and present, prioritize, multitask, and manage change successfully
  • You’re detail-oriented, process-driven, and always one step ahead
  • Passion for delivering great employee experiences and growing in the HR field

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be able to work from our Orlando, FL office at least 3 days/week (Tues–Thurs)
  • Willing to work overtime or travel for business needs when required
