Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

End User Services Manager 

Sunnyvale, CA 

In this role you will lead the technology foundation that enables Natcast's mission to advance semiconductor innovation, ensuring our team has the tools and support needed to drive America's technological leadership forward. 

Every day you will orchestrate end-user computing excellence across our organization, balancing security and efficiency while delivering an exceptional technology experience for our workforce.

Our mission demands a robust, secure, and efficient technology infrastructure that enables collaboration across industry, academia, and government partners. 

The End User Services Manager leads Natcast's end-user computing environment, ensuring our team has seamless access to the tools and technologies needed to advance semiconductor innovation. This role combines technical leadership with strategic vision to deliver exceptional technology services that enable our mission-critical work.

Responsibilities: 

End User Device Management: 

  • Lead lifecycle management for Windows and Apple device ecosystems 

  • Drive endpoint security, compliance, and performance optimization 

  • Oversee multi-site desktop support operations through managed service providers 

  • Implement automation and efficiency improvements across device management 

 

Collaboration Platform Leadership: 

  • Direct Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint 

  • Spearhead adoption strategies and training initiatives 

  • Ensure platform alignment with security and compliance requirements 

  • Optimize collaboration tools for cross-functional effectiveness 

 

Identity and Access Management: 

  • Lead IAM strategy and implementation including SSO and SCIM solutions 

  • Optimize user lifecycle management workflows 

  • Partner with security teams on access controls and MFA 

  • Ensure robust identity protection across platforms 

 

Strategic Leadership: 

  • Develop and track service metrics and KPIs 

  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives 

  • Contribute to IT strategic planning and roadmap development 

  • Foster culture of technical excellence and innovation 

 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 

  • 5+ years IT end-user services experience with 2+ years in leadership 

  • Deep expertise in Windows and Apple enterprise environments 

  • Strong background in Microsoft 365 administration 

  • Proven experience with IAM implementation and management 

  • Excellence in vendor and budget management 

  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities 

  • Track record of driving service improvement initiatives 

 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

 

  • Technical certifications (Microsoft, Apple, ITIL) 

  • Scripting and automation capabilities 

  • Experience in regulated or high-security environments 

  • Background in supporting research organizations
