Job Description

The Opportunity

ModernFi is hiring a Product Manager to help scale our platform as we expand across the bank and credit union landscape. As a core member of our high-impact Product and Engineering team, you’ll take ownership of initiatives from concept to launch, working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, account management, and leadership to design solutions that are functional, scalable, and beloved by our clients. This is a unique opportunity to help build critical financial infrastructure from the ground up and shape the future of the American financial system.

We’re looking for someone who is thoughtful, structured, and relentlessly outcome-oriented—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, executes with urgency, and is motivated by building technology that solves real problems. At ModernFi, we believe in hiring top talent and giving you the autonomy to build impactful solutions, while fostering a culture of collaboration and learning. You’ll deepen your expertise, contribute to mission-critical systems, and build products that empower banks and credit unions to better serve their communities and improve financial health nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle across key areas of the platform: from discovery and prioritization to specification, implementation, and launch

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, account management, and leadership to ship scalable and secure financial infrastructure

  • Work closely with clients and partners to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure product-market fit

  • Translate business objectives and user problems into structured product requirements and actionable development plans, including using Linear to create and manage projects and tickets that translate product requirements into clear, actionable workflows for the engineering team

  • Define and monitor success metrics; make data-informed decisions to iterate and improve

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment and clarity throughout development and release cycles

  • Support go-to-market, training, and documentation efforts to drive adoption and client success

  • Operate with urgency, integrity, and attention to detail—every decision you make should reflect our role as systemically-important infrastructure

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in product management at a SaaS, software, or fintech company preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex product areas and drive them to meaningful outcomes

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

  • Comfort working with technical teams and understanding how software is built

  • A track record of execution, with examples of shipping high-quality features under tight timelines

  • Strong user empathy and a problem-solving mindset

  • Deep appreciation for the relationship between product, operations, compliance, and client success

  • Hunger to build, drive impact, and be part of a high-performance team
