Senior Software Engineer (LLM Application Development)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Team. As part of a global team, you will integrate and apply Generative AI technology to BizStack, MODE's flagship product. The technical challenges we are tackling often have no clear answers, and your system design and coding skills in developing robust multi-tenant systems are critical. As a senior member of the team, you are expected to provide technical leadership to engineering projects and product initiatives and to independently research and identify solutions for open-ended problems.

Core Responsibilities

• Create and improve core functionalities of BizStack Assistant, an intelligent chatbot using Generative AI technology.

• Join the on-call rotation and respond to service issues.

• Act as technical lead on substantial projects/tasks, and offer guidance to other engineers.

• Review teammates' technical designs and pull requests.

• Share technical knowledge within the organization and support team members' growth.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience in designing and implementing cloud-based backend systems.

• 2+ years of industry experience in implementing LLM applications, with knowledge in RAG, Agents, Tools, etc.

• 5+ years of industry experience in launching and operating cloud applications on AWS.

• 5+ years of experience in using and developing on Linux.

• Ability to carry out written and verbal technical discussions in English.

• Programming experience with Go or Python(with static typing).

• Ability to create detailed execution plans for complex technical projects and coordinate/collaborate with other engineers.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including other engineers, product managers, business team members, etc.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in using Terraform and crafting HCL files.

• Experience in microservices development.

• Experience in designing/implementing systems using event-driven architecture.
