Medtronic Neuromodulation is seeking a bold, strategic leader to serve as Director of Integrated Communications, a player-coach who will lead the development and executive of global communications, content, and creative strategies that bring our brand to life and drive business impact.
You’ll lead a team of communications and creatives professionals focused on building high-impact programs that educate, inspire, and accelerate therapy adoption while ensuring global consistency, local relevance, and creative excellence. This role is ideal for someone who can lead, collaborate, and do with equal passion.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Lead the development and execution of global communications programs that support brand building, therapy awareness, and business growth.
Drive a strong consumer marketing focus within the function, strengthening our direct-to-patient efforts through digital, social, video, web, and partnerships.
Collaborate with global marketing, product, clinical, and regional teams to align messaging, content, and campaigns to business goals and commercial strategy.
Ensure integration across paid, earned, shared, and owned (PESO) media, with clear objectives and KPIs tied to reputation, awareness, and demand generation.
Guide development of high-value content that educates, inspires, and supports key decision-making moments across all stakeholder audiences.
Use data and performance insights to refine strategy and demonstrate the impact of communications on business growth and patient access.
Support reputation marketing efforts that reinforce our leadership in neuroscience and innovation.
Manage and grow a high-performing team of strategists responsible for messaging, content, and creative execution aligned to global marketing priorities.
Drive a unified content strategy that spans the patient and provider journey — delivering high-value, insight-driven storytelling across formats and markets.
Provide creative direction and governance to ensure consistent brand expression, visual identity, and tone of voice across all materials and campaigns.
Translate business strategy into compelling communications platforms and narratives.
Guide development of global creative assets, content libraries, and messaging frameworks that scale and adapt for regional use.
Oversee brand health tracking and campaign performance measurement, using data to optimize programs and demonstrate impact with precision.
Contribute to reputation and thought leadership initiatives that reinforce our leadership in neuroscience and purpose-driven innovation.
Foster collaboration, clarity, and operational rigor across the communications function and global marketing teams.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of people or program managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of people or program managerial experience
Nice to Have
Medical device and/or healthcare experience.
Experience in supporting or planning communications programs for medical device industry.
AI fluent, with tangible experience leveraging platforms for efficiency and scale.
Experience working with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Marketing, and Sales.
Demonstrate ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse set of customers as well as peers and colleagues across organizational levels.
