A Day in the Life
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity of supporting program management processes and operating mechanisms within Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) Team. You will work with project leaders in VAVE and across the broader organization to support our programmatic savings targets across our strategic horizon, ensuring robust management and adherence to our governance process. This role will play an important part in achieving our bold ambition of engineering the extraordinary and delivering best in class quality, service, and cost optimization through rigorous application of technical excellence and enterprise-wide development, deployment, and execution of our value creation strategy.At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. Provides program communication and coordination support to the VAVE team and critical stakeholders in related Global Operations and Supply Chain teams and Operating Units
Supports the creation and maintenance of operating mechanisms with the VAVE team, including meetings and dashboards for VP level stakeholders
Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables
Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines, procedures, and policies
Gathers and compiles information for reports and monthly status meetings, manages meeting invites and the VAVE DL for PMs.
Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding
Manages metrics, KPI’s, leading indicators and associated measurements of performance; Creates and maintains scorecards and associated measurement systems
Supports the team as a super-user in functional communication and program management tools
Performs a wide variety of non-routine clerical and administrative tasks and may support special projects or assignments
Must Haves
Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of Project Management/Support experience OR Advanced Degree
Nice to Have
Medical device industry experience in manufacturing or engineering functions
Experience with Medtronic systems such as Planisware, SAP, Ariba and Concur
Experience developing and maintaining Sharepoint sites, Teams channels, Forms, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate workflows, and other Microsoft work management apps
Experience with data analysis and creation of pivot tables
Project management &/or change management experience
Six sigma certification or other experience participating in, or leading, continuous improvement projects
