Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a passionate and results-driven Director of Revenue for a full-service Marriott Hotel, located in Alabama, to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As a Revenue Manager, you will play a critical role in maximizing revenue opportunities through effective pricing strategies, forecasting, and inventory management. Your primary focus will be on optimizing room revenue, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving overall profitability. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop and implement pricing strategies that reflect market conditions and competitive landscape. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize hotel revenue.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform pricing decisions and strategies.
  • Monitor and manage room inventory and pricing across all channels to optimize revenue.
  • Forecast demand accurately based on historical data, market conditions, and upcoming events.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to design promotional packages and pricing structures.
  • Prepare and present regular revenue reports and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Train and mentor hotel staff on revenue management principles and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a revenue management or similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market trends.
  • Familiarity with revenue management systems and tools (e.g., Opera, IDeaS, or similar software).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
