Job Description

As a Tech Artist 3, you act as a key bridge between departments—driving the development of scalable art pipelines, identifying technical risks, and championing optimization across all content. You will lead initiatives, mentor junior tech artists, and help define best practices for cross-platform performance and visual consistency.

Responsibility
  • Lead collaboration between art, design, and engineering to solve complex challenges and ensure a unified technical direction.
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced tools, workflows, and content pipelines for mobile and AR production in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Proactively identify risks or inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions across teams.
  • Own and enforce standards for visual consistency, content optimization, and platform-specific performance tuning.
  • Mentor and support junior tech artists through code reviews, training, and guidance on best practices.
  • Drive documentation, process improvements, and technical innovation across the art pipeline.


Required Qualifications
  • Deep experience with Unreal Engine 5 in mobile and/or AR development contexts.
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting (Blueprint, Python, C++) and shader development.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience coordinating across departments and disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and scale technical art systems and workflows.
  • Expert-level understanding of real-time rendering, optimization strategies, and content debugging.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to drive consensus and foster collaboration between teams.

$90,000 - $140,000 a year
Salaries offered are based on candidate experience, internal equity, and the level at which they are hired.
