Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and work from AV system design drawings and documentation
  • Program, implement, and test AV control systems (e.g., Crestron) for integration projects
  • Lead code reviews and ensure programming aligns with project specifications and best practices
  • Participate in design and code reviews to support project development and system performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in the field
  • Provide technical support to project managers, field technicians, and installation teams
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of integrated AV systems and perform diagnostics as needed
  • Deliver client-facing system demonstrations and ensure functionality aligns with user needs
  • Develop and maintain end-user documentation and programming-related technical materials
  • Update and manage control system code in deployed systems to ensure continued performance
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Technical Operations leadership throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support sales activities, including site surveys with account managers when requested
  • Travel to job sites as required for project implementation or support
  • Perform other duties as assigned by company management


Requirements:
  • Proficient with test and calibration equipment and programing languages
  • Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems
  • Proficient in control system design (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC)
  • Solid communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems
  • Advanced computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization and operations of AV equipment
  • Ability to work and think independently, ensuring to meet deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
  • Understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a Programmer
  • Crestron or AMX Control Programmer Associate or equivalent
  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record
