This is a full-time on-site role at Kings River Packing, LP headquarters office in Sanger, CA.

Role Summary

Kings River Packing is looking to hire a Graphic Designer as a member of the sales and marketing team. This position is responsible for developing visual assets that support packaging, sales, trade, and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented professional who can uphold the brand’s visual standards while contributing fresh, engaging ideas.

  • Packaging Design: Design and update citrus packaging graphics including labels, cartons, bags, and promotional wraps.
  • Trade Collateral: Develop marketing and sales materials such as sell sheets, product catalogs, presentations, and point-of-sale assets.
  • Advertising: Create print and digital ads for industry publications, websites, and social platforms.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain cohesive design and messaging across all channels in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Print & Production Coordination: Prepare press-ready files and collaborate with printers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure production quality and accuracy.
  • Image Management: Assist with photography and photo editing, managing and organizing creative assets for marketing use.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to support seasonal campaigns, trade shows, and product launches.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay informed on design and packaging trends relevant to the agriculture and food industries.
  • Project Ownership: Manage multiple projects from concept through execution, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Content Support: Assist with layout and visual elements for digital and print content, including social media and internal  communications.
  • Perform other work-related duties and projects as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design (experience in agriculture, food, or CPG packaging a plus).
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of packaging dielines, color profiles, and print production processes.
  • Excellent visual composition, typography, and layout skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Photography and basic photo editing skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with branding and product marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on creative challenges.

Physical Demands & Abilities

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, working from a computer, talking on the phone.
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs for packaging samples, trade show materials, or photography equipment.
  • Onsite work schedule Monday – Friday with flexibility as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $65,000 – $85,000/year based on experience
