Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack Ads products, from backend services to user-facing interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Revenue Infrastructure, Machine Learning, and Data Science, to shape and ship high-quality features.
• Lead technical design and implementation, ensuring systems are robust, maintainable, and optimized for speed and experimentation.
• Partner strategically with product and engineering leadership to define the roadmap and scale features that enhance revenue and user engagement.
• Model technical excellence by owning projects end-to-end — from requirement gathering to post-launch maintenance and iteration.
• Promote engineering best practices and mentor teammates across topics like architecture, design patterns, and operational excellence.

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in relevant full-stack or ad tech-focused roles.
• Strong background in designing and implementing full-stack applications using technologies like TypeScript, React, React Native, Python, or Rust.
• Solid understanding of scalable backend architecture, API design, data modeling, and experimentation techniques.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with a track record of delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Passion for mentoring and collaboration, with excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deep curiosity about the ad delivery ecosystem and interest in digital advertising innovation.
• Bonus: Experience in ad tech systems, open-source contributions, and familiarity with the Discord platform.
