One of our companies is currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer in United States.

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications and services. This remote position combines hands-on automation and manual testing to support ongoing IT projects, while also driving best practices across the QA process. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, build test strategies, execute test cases, and improve the overall development lifecycle. The role demands strong technical abilities in Java, SQL, and testing frameworks, as well as clear communication and a proactive mindset.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Participate in requirements reviews and contribute to system and test design decisions.
• Execute both automated and manual testing, including regression, load, and performance testing.
• Ensure consistent test documentation and clear reporting of defects and quality metrics.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
• Support testing strategy for multiple project timelines and collaborate with development and IT teams.
• Maintain testing environments and contribute to process improvements in the QA lifecycle.

• 6+ years of QA experience in both manual and automated testing of Web UI and APIs.
• Proficiency in Java and experience using tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and change management practices.
• Experience working with SQL databases, writing and debugging queries.
• Familiarity with technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET, XML, and JSON.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Bonus: Experience with automation platforms like JMeter or similar.
