We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Support Manager to lead a team of Customer Support Experts in delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for managing operations, coaching team members, and driving continuous improvements in customer experience. This role requires a mix of technical knowledge, strong communication, and leadership skills to align team performance with company goals. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize support strategies and ensure product excellence. Accountabilities:
- Lead, recruit, train, and manage a team of Customer Support Experts and/or Team Leads
- Conduct performance reviews, manage compensation, and handle team development and engagement
- Forecast staffing needs based on business goals and customer demand
- Define and track team KPIs, generate performance reports for leadership
- Handle escalations from clients and internal stakeholders regarding service issues
- Oversee onboarding and training processes to ensure knowledge consistency across the team
- Implement and refine policies, tools, and workflows for greater efficiency and service delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer support operations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and integrated technologies
- Drive technical escalations and ensure resolution through coordination with development teams
- 3+ years of experience in software support, customer service, or a related field
- 2+ years in a leadership role managing direct reports
- Experience with CRM systems, workflow tools, or financial management platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills including team coaching, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of organization and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with tools like spreadsheets, word processors, and online meeting platforms
- Knowledge of accounting concepts or systems relevant to product offerings is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to analyze team performance and implement actionable improvements
