Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to design and develop scalable web applications.
- Interpret business requirements and technical specifications to deliver high-quality software.
- Develop full-stack features using Ruby on Rails, React, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Create and execute unit tests, feature tests, and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews and champion SDLC best practices
- Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development trends, especially in the open-source ecosystem.
- Recommend and implement improvements in tools, technologies, and development processes.
Education and/or Training:
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Bootcamp or other Trade Certificate hold equal weight to BA/BS.
- Certifications in web development or open-source technologies are a plus.
Relevant Work Experience:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with full stack web development. Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Bootstrap are preferred.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and writing optimized SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Git/Github for version control
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, OOP, Functional Programming, and TDD
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with open-source tools and libraries is highly valued.

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $67,670.00 - $98,125.00 USD annually for full time employees.
