We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Home Office Patient Data Entry Clerk. This is a remote position that offers the flexibility of working from home while being a part of a dynamic and supportive team.
As a Home Office Patient Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our home care agency. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently enter patient data into our electronic medical records system, ensuring the highest level of data integrity and confidentiality. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, as well as within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter patient data into our electronic medical records system with a high level of accuracy
- Verify and update existing patient information for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate data entry
- Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines
- Keep track of all data and record errors, and report them to the appropriate team member for resolution
- Follow policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data entry guidelines and standards
- Assist with other clerical tasks and support office operations as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or clerical work
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems
- Excellent organization skills and ability to manage time efficiently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and practices
