The Opportunity
At Flock Safety, the Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) role is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a people-first, mission-driven organization. You’ll be joining a team that believes HR is a strategic lever for growth and impact—not just a function. As a Manager, HR Business Partner, you’ll lead a team of high-performing HR Business Partners, partnering closely with senior leaders across the company to align our people strategy with our business goals. This role offers the chance to influence how we develop talent, navigate change, and build inclusive, high-performing teams. The Skillset
Strategic HR expertise – Ability to align people strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Leadership and team management – Experience leading and developing HRBPs or HR teams to deliver high-impact support.
Executive partnership – Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders on org design, performance, and talent decisions.
Change management – Skilled at guiding teams through growth, transformation, and organizational change with clarity and empathy.
Coaching and development – Strong coaching skills to support leaders and employees in their growth and development journeys.
Data-informed decision-making – Comfort with using people data and insights to shape strategy, measure impact, and guide decisions.
Conflict resolution and employee relations – Ability to navigate complex employee situations with fairness, discretion, and sound judgment.
Inclusion and culture-building – Passion for fostering a culture of inclusion, belonging, and continuous improvement.
Project management – Organized, proactive, and capable of driving cross-functional initiatives to completion
Communication – Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences.

The Interview Process
We want our interview process to be a true reflection of our culture: transparent and collaborative. Throughout the interview process, your recruiter will guide you through the next steps and ensure you feel prepared every step of the way.
Our First Chat: During this first conversation, you’ll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background and what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are.
The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field.
The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners, all individually during one interview stage.
The Executive Review: A chance to meet with our Chief People Officer and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
Salary & Equity
In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $170,000 - $190,000 as well as stock options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
