Ferguson is seeking an experienced Manager of Enterprise Device Engineering, to join the IT Associate Experience team. This is a highly visible role across the company that regularly interacts with leadership, associates, vendors and teams across Ferguson.
Location: This is a Hybrid role based out of our HQ in Newport News, VA, in accordance with Ferguson's Flex schedule; 3-days office / 2-days remote.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversight of our device management tools and of our standards for end user devices.
- Responsible for the overall service delivery of the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), End-to-End Device Management, Printing, and Mobile Device Management solutions.
- Lead and manage a team of technical resources and a people manager to include reviews, resource allocation and growth and development planning sessions.
- Maintain strong relationships with critical vendor account and support teams to ensure timely responses to concerns.
- Know the latest with pertinent technologies on an ongoing basis and relay potential impact of changes to the business.
- Improve and maintain system availability, security, and functionality.
- Responsible for conducting research of new technology opportunities and implementation strategies to meet service goals.
- Assigns and prioritizes tasks to ensure team resources are used effectively and system projects are implemented in accordance with project plans and budgets.
- Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team.
- Conduct regular associate meetings and associate 1:1s.
- Represent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applies sophisticated knowledge of specific technical areas that include:
Intune SCCM JAMF Azure Virtual Desktop
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in leading a team responsible for device management at a large organization.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups.
- Ability to lead and empower individuals and teams.
- Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
- Experienced knowledge of operating system fundamentals and how they work, such as Microsoft Windows and MacOS.
- Knowledge of device management standards, solutions, and best practices preferred.
- Advanced computer and network skills preferred.

Pay Range:

$7,568.91 - $13,247.76-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
