Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Go.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize application performance through careful coding and architecture choices.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases, addressing bugs and implementing new features.
  • Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to uphold code quality standards.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to manage deployment and integration processes.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Go programming language.
  • Strong experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Proficient with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
