About the role
We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our team and help lead the design and development of our virtual care platform. In addition to our custom-built platform for our internal teams, this role will also help drive development of our recently launched mobile app for patients and their families. The Product Designer is passionate about improving healthcare outcomes and has a track record of creating user-centered digital solutions.
Responsibilities
Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for a variety of use cases and audiences, including internal and external users.
Clearly communicate design solutions to stakeholders through wireframes, prototypes, and detailed implementation specifications.
Partner with business leaders, product management, and engineering to ensure alignment throughout the process.
Help establish and promote design system guidelines, best practices and standards.
Contribute to user research and usability testing in order to incorporate feedback and make data-driven decisions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in product design or relevant field.
3+ years of experience as a designer within a fast-paced, agile environment, ideally working at a tech-enabled healthcare company.
Proven track record working on a digital platform with an active user base.
Comfortable working collaboratively across product, engineering, and business teams.
Proficiency in using design tools (Figma) and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into design.
Demonstrated ability to achieve results with limited resources and work independently with a bias toward action.

Physical Demands
Work is performed 100% from home with requirement to travel once or twice a year for in-person meetings. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
