Position Summary
The Senior Director of Brand plays a critical role on the Naturium marketing team, serving as the leader responsible for driving brand development across the entire funnel. This includes shaping the global brand strategy, crafting product strategy, and leading execution of U.S. go-to-market initiatives.
Success in this role requires a leader who embodies core cultural values such as growth, positivity, honesty, curiosity, innovation, speed, agility, and collaboration. The position oversees two Senior Brand Managers, with plans to expand the team in the near future. Strong cross-functional leadership is also essential, as this role relies on collaboration with other marketing departments to bring key elements of the strategic vision to life.
This is a hybrid position based in our Los Angeles, CA office 3 days a week.
\n- Global Brand Strategy: Concepting and developing global brand strategy for entire franchise of facial skincare, body and lip
- Marketing Calendar: Developing and managing global marketing and communication calendar that drives how paid, owned and earned teams execute their roles
- Campaign Development: Managing key campaign development with creative team and external agencies
- Global go-to-market 360: Produce GTM strategies for global distribution on key launches and campaigns
- US go-to-market execution: Responsible for deployment and executional excellence of GTM strategy in the US
- Budget management: Strategically manage how brand deploys its marketing investment globally
- Product Strategy and Development: drive product strategy and guide product development team to ensure Naturium leads the market in ingredient, application and experience innovation
- Business Management: Will play a key role in supporting CMO with business-critical presentations to leadership and e.l.f. board of directors
- Extensive Experience in Beauty: 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the beauty, skincare, or personal care industry
- Brand Strategy Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute global brand strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth across multiple channels
- Brand Visionary & Storyteller: Ability to define and articulate a compelling brand narrative that resonates globally, inspires teams, and sets the long-term vision for Naturium’s identity and evolution in the market
- Global Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of international market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regional marketing approaches
- Digital & Omni-channel Marketing Leadership: Demonstrated success in driving integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, influencer, retail, and experiential touchpoints
- Strong Creative Vision: Ability to guide creative development and maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
- Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience leading high-performing teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners including product development, sales, creative, and e-commerce
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze performance metrics, customer insights, and market trends to inform marketing strategies
- Brand Partnerships & Influencer Strategy: Experience building and executing partnerships and influencer programs that drive awareness and engagement
