About the Team
The Enterprise Strategy & Operations team is responsible for maximizing team performance and serving as trusted partners to sales leadership in our Enterprise Partnerships & Business Development organization. This team owns cross-functional strategic, analytic, and operational initiatives to best serve our largest revenue driving partnerships across all geographies and business lines at DoorDash. To achieve this, the Enterprise Strategy & Operations team builds strategic plans, executes go-to-market playbooks, builds processes, and partners with cross-functional teams to solve our toughest problems.
About the role
We’re seeking a Data Strategist to uncover insights, shape strategy, and drive high-impact execution across our Enterprise Sales organization.
This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone with strong technical skills, paired with the strategic acumen to work cross-functionally, identify opportunities, and bring data-driven initiatives from concept to implementation.
You’ll partner with teams including Account Management, Strategy & Operations, Product, and Data Eng to tackle ambiguous problems, develop analytical frameworks, and influence decisions that support our Enterprise Sales org and scale merchant growth.

- Drive Strategy with Data: Use SQL and other analytics tools to explore complex datasets, identify key business opportunities, and frame insights into actionable strategies.
- Own Projects End-to-End: Take ambiguous ideas and turn them into well-defined projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to define hypotheses, scope efforts, conduct analyses, and execute solutions.
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Enterprise teams to align priorities, share findings, and ensure strategic decisions are supported by rigorous data analysis.
- Build Decision-Making Tools: Design and automate dashboards, models, and reporting infrastructure that provide clear insights and support long-term growth strategies.
- Influence with Storytelling: Craft clear and compelling narratives that communicate complex insights in a way that drives alignment and action.
- Improve Data Foundations: Help identify opportunities to improve data quality and consistency, enabling more scalable and accurate analytics across the business.

Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of work experience in data analytics, strategy, consulting, or other similar field
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to work through complex, ambiguous problems using data
- Proven ability to achieve expert level in:
- Querying languages and data analysis tools such as SQL and Python
- Data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Data visualization platforms like Tableau or Sigma
- Strong written/verbal communications and presentation skills
Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

See below for paid time off details:
- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
