Job Description

Essential Functions (List the most important activities and tasks required to meet the role’s objective)
 

  • Manage in coordination with the Global Logistics team logistics and transportation for a business segment. Manage internal stakeholder relationships to ensure a high level of service.

  • Support internal and external (CMO) sites with logistics leadership, technical information to enable execution.

  • Partners with internal departments to enable an integrated, end-to-end supply chain.

  • Collaborate with the Material Management team on inventory management tasks, including SKU setup, goods receiving, and reporting.

  • Support Material Management on cycle counts

  • Review Inventory usage(monthly) and setup max/rop for Kanbans

  • Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry requirements, in line with GMP compliance and cold chain management.

  • Monitor and execute product flow throughout a global distribution network. Take ownership of shipments by bringing situational leadership to ensure the success of the shipment.

  • Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators of the network and service providers.

  • Support international shipments, including import and export compliance activities

  • Identify distribution related risk and develop mitigating plans.

  • Track and regular report on budget activities.

  • Raise continuous improvement ideas to support a robust and secure logistics network.

  • Collaborate on internal SOP’s/Work Instructions to identify best practices.


Supervisory Responsibilities (Provide a description of the team this individual will be managing, if applicable)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Requirements align with the competencies necessary to perform the essential functions)

  • SAP HANA (MM, Inbound and Inventory Management Module) or any ERP systems

  • Strong leadership, collaboration and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to problem solve and drive positive change

  • Dynamic, pragmatic, and passionate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • MS Office

  • Negotiation skills

Education, Experience, Licenses & Certifications (align with knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or other relevant discipline preferred.

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in Logistics, Transportation, Import/Export, cold-chain other Supply Chain function

  • 1-5 years’ work experience in Biotech-Pharmaceuticals

  • Experience managing projects for high-performing global teams.

  • Freight Forwarding Experience
