Our AFC (Anti-Financial Crime) team is responsible for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. Risk types related to Anti-Financial Crime are consolidated in a comprehensive and effective risk management framework that covers Anti-Money-Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as Anti-Fraud & Investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all the BAU support queries from business are handled on priority and within agreed service level agreement (SLA) and ensure all application stability issues are well taken care off;
  • Take responsibility for your own engineering delivery to drive a reduction in technical debt across the production environment with development and infrastructure teams;
  • Carry out technical analysis of the Production platform to identify and remediate performance and resiliency issues;
  • Engage in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to enhance Production Standards and controls. SDLC – we use this quite extensively and ITIL terms are quite used;
  • Update KB Articles and Application Runbooks;
  • Speak Up if you think something can be improved;
  • Collaboration with all the other areas (e.g. BA, QA, RM, SM & PO) – we find it very important for automation;
  • Identify & communicate risks associated with major changes into Production;

Skills

  • Experience applying technical solutions to improve the stability of production environments;
  • Understanding and working knowledge of the ITIL Service management framework (incident, problem, change management). ServiceNow is a plus;
  • Extensive working experience in providing L2/L3 support (preferably in a banking environment) on mission-critical (99.9% uptime) applications;
  • Knowledge of operating infrastructure on any public cloud as a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)/DevOps; experience on Google Cloud Platform is a plus;
  • Working experience of Unix/Linux, Control-M, Tomcat, Weblogic, Oracle Databases, MS SQL, GCP, Openshift, Artifactory, Github, Bitbucket, Jira;
  • Analytical mindset, problem solver;
  • Ability to work in virtual teams;
