Overview:
We are seeking a sharp, strategic, and highly analytical Senior Manager of Operations Forecasting to lead forecasting across our regions for demand and supply planning. This role sits at the center of execution and strategy, shaping the models that drive critical business decisions and ensuring we deliver on customer expectations with precision and efficiency.
You will own our forecasting engine—turning data into foresight and plans into action. You’ll partner across Network Operations, Production, Finance, Product, Clinical Operations, Recruiting, Credentialing and Onboarding to forecast demand, model capacity, and drive resourcing decisions with recommendations to senior leadership. Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead our regional forecasting strategy by building, refining, and owning regional operational forecasts across demand and supply for our In-home and virtual provider visits
Evaluate existing data sources and reports to enhance current forecasting analyses and models, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Transform data into actionable strategies by analyzing historical trends, real-time indicators, and market dynamics to generate clear insights and scenario-based models that inform and optimize forecasts
Develop and implement forecasting tools, dashboards, and automation strategies.
Drive Operational Excellence by converting forecast outputs into effective workforce plans for both 1099 and W2 providers, maximizing performance and minimizing costs.
Prepare and deliver regular, impactful reports and present strategic updates to executive leadership, utilizing clear narratives and data-driven recommendations.
Proactively identify potential risks, emerging opportunities, and various scenarios; effectively communicate forecast deviations and propose comprehensive mitigation strategies.
Foster strong collaboration with Finance on cross-functional planning initiatives to guarantee that forecasts are fully aligned with overarching business objectives and planning timelines.
Perform thorough root cause analyses with a focus on identifying solutions when actual results deviate from expectations, and disseminate findings along with recommended corrective actions to enhance overall business performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Economics, Analytics)
7 or more years of experience in forecasting, operations strategy, or analytics roles in high-growth environments
Strong analytical and modeling skills in tools such as Excel, SQL, etc. as well as command of forecasting methods and scenario planning
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and maintaining excellent relations with operations and product teams at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills—able to translate complex data into actionable insights
Occasional travel is required for meetings

Advanced degree such as MBA preferred

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $165,954.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
