Crown is searching for an experienced Financial Specialist, skilled in programmatic and financial reporting functions. This accomplished and highly motivated finance specialist should have government contracting or government experience and will be responsible for leading the Program Management Office (PMO) functions related to financial performance measures, metrics definition, reporting, and related contract-level activities. The Finance Specialist supports the Contracts Manager in developing the cost portion of task order proposals.
The Finance Specialist role is located in Arlington, VA headquarters.
The Finance Specialist supports the Program Manager in establishing and performing all the business processes of the contract support program, including configuration and implementation of Crown’s business policies, processes, and standards. The Financial Specialist leads the development and delivery of several of the contract deliverables such as invoices and NF 533s.
The Finance Specialist will spend approximately 40% of their time with the contract Program Management Office, along with the Contracts, and HR Functions. The remainder of their time will be spent working with our Crown finance team at HQ supporting a variety of contracts and internal functions. This is an ideal position for a highly motivated individual who possesses strong contract finance/accounting experience combined with the desire and energy to work in a fast-paced, growth environment.
Responsibilities:
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, analyzes variances and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects.
Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. May conduct special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
- 3+ years of finance experience supporting technical skill sets
- Strong relationship management skills for internal customers and subcontractor partners
