Job Description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Work closely with US Tax Manager, finance, legal, and business team, provide tax support, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Monitor updates in international, federal, state and local tax law changes, assess impacts on the group and business operations, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Analyze tax implications of cross-border investments, trade, and profit allocation, and develop tax optimization strategies.
- Assist in Transfer Price and resolving tax disputes.
- Participate in tax projects, e.g. liquidations, mergers, acquisitions, audits and restructurings, etc.
- Coordinate with international colleagues and external tax advisors on tax matters.
- Liaise with tax authorities, external auditors and consultants to address tax audits and provide audit support.
- Tax includes US federal, state and local direct and indirect tax compliance and financial reporting.
- Support financial reporting of current and deferred tax assets, liabilities and tax expense.
- Prepare quarterly tax payments to various federal and state jurisdictions.
- Maintain tax calendar on various tax filing obligations.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as HR, Payroll, Customs and Finance.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience.
- Experience in US Federal and State tax, preferably within a global organization.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and tax compliance.
- Experience in handling tax projects, including tax audits.
- Proven experience in working with tax authorities and external advisors, managing tax matters in multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experiences with tax preparation software such as CorpTax or OneSource.
