The ECCOE Training Coordinator will coordinate all training and professional development activities within ECCOE programs to support the early childhood workforce and families with high quality training opportunities.Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates training and professional development for ECCOE Programs state-wide
- Works with ECCOE trainers to coordinate and schedule trainings state-wide
- Builds relationships with early childhood organizations to provide contract training for early childhood professionals state-wide
- Creates new training opportunities for early childhood professionals
- Participates in training opportunities and provides training
- Creates marketing and campaigns to advertise training opportunities
- Maintains website with training opportunities
- Trains new ECCOE trainers on ECCOE training protocols and expectations
- Designs program evaluation and uses data to assess training quality and effectiveness
- Works with ECCOE Program Managers to offer training in their program areas
Skills, knowledge, and abilities:
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work with the early childhood community and support staff to ensure compliance and fidelity of all training standards
- Skilled in organizing and coordinating registration, scheduling training, participant follow up, and training evaluation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with participants, partners, and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of developing effective training models online and in-person for program growth and expansion
- Knowledge of early childhood workforce professional development
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively represent the ECCOE programs at the state and national level
- Ability to manage and develop engaging and effective trainings in-person and online
- Demonstrate ability to creatively solve problems and build innovative programs
- Experience in reflective supervision and training adult learners
- Ability to travel state-wide to support training
Work Hours
- As scheduled
- Non-traditional hours and weekends to support training
Physical Demands
- The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching or stooping. The employee occasionally lifts light objects.
- The work is typically performed in an office and in community education settings and classrooms.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 years of experience in education related settings
- Travel required - Must possess a driver’s license and vehicle
Preferences
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- 3+ years of experience with training and and/or teaching in education related settings
- Experience with virtual and in-person training and/or teaching
- Experience with program coordination
