This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary technical authority for the configuration and operation of enterprise-level systems
• Develop and implement cutting-edge strategies for system optimization and resource utilization
• Lead comprehensive system capacity analysis and long-term strategic planning initiatives
• Provide expert consultation to executive leadership on system architecture and emerging technologies
• Design and oversee the implementation of advanced system security measures and compliance frameworks
• Lead critical problem-solving efforts and develop innovative solutions for complex system challenges
• Establish best practices and standard operating procedures for system administration across the organization
• Mentor senior team members and contribute to the professional development of the IT department
• Represent CACI in industry forums and contribute to thought leadership in system administration
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study
• 10+ years of extensive, progressive experience in system administration (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• Recognized expert-level knowledge of various operating systems, including mainframe, mini, and client/server-based systems
• Advanced expertise in network architecture, protocols, and services
• Proven track record in optimizing large-scale, complex IT environments
• Extensive experience with virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and emerging IT trends
• Superior skills in scripting, automation, and system integration
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams and executives
Desired:
• Advanced college degree (Ph.D. preferred)
• Relevant executive-level IT certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL Master)
• Experience with cutting-edge technologies (e.g., AI/ML integration, edge computing)
• Expertise in federal IT regulations, compliance, and security frameworks
• Track record of successful large-scale system transformations or modernization efforts
• Contributions to the field through publications, patents, or speaking engagements

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
