The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Program Manager to support operations in Huntsville, AL!
The PAC-3 Senior Manager will manage teams that directly support Production, Sustainment and Development activities. This position requires strong leadership and people skills, the ability to problem solve, proactively identify issues, and develop and communicate action plans.
In this role, the ideal candidate is expected to manages first-level managers and employees performing management activities across multiple shifts.
This position will be required to:
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
Interface directly with stakeholders to the help resolve production issues
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
Manages resources and leads process improvements.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle.
Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility.
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities):
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, assembly and/or aerospace environment
5+ years working in Quality
5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
Excellent Written, Verbal, and Presentation Skills
Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
Engaged experience participating in program reviews (PDR, CDR, Flight Test)
Working knowledge of the MDA Mission Assurance Provisions (MAP)
Solid working knowledge of Quality Tools (APQP, Early Quality Involvement, RCCA)
Performing Surveillance and Compliance Audits
Direct experience performing in quality engineering, manufacturing operations, project management, system engineering, or change management
Experience building internal and external customer relationships
Direct engagement in strategy development
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $162,350 - $136,000 - 184,000
