We’re embarking on an exciting journey to replace our legacy HRIS (PeopleSoft) with a new, modern system (TBC) and we’re looking for a HRIS Project Manager (6-month contract) to lead the charge! This is your chance to take ownership of a high-impact, organisation-wide change that will shape how we manage our people for years to come. What you will bring 

  • Previous experience in a project management role (min 2 – 3 years). 
  • HRIS transition experience preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and systems (payroll, recruitment, talent, learning, time and attendance). 
  • Strong communication skills, keeping all relevant stake holders informed on process. 
  • Ability to complete tasks by agreed deadline.

Some tasks include, but are not limited to: 

  • Deliver the successful transition of Betfair from PeopleSoft to a new HRIS system (TBC) within the agreed timeline. 
  • Ensure system configuration aligns with business requirements across HR, payroll, and finance functions. 
  • Ensure accurate and complete migration of all existing employee data. 
  • Document and hand over all key processes to enable the People & Culture team to manage and maintain the system independently. 
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks before they impact project timelines or outcomes. 
  • Provide clear, consistent progress updates to key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Establish clear governance protocols for ongoing system updates, user permissions, and support escalation. 
  • Conduct thorough testing to validate functionality before go-live. 
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
