To support the onboarding of HubSpot CRM and strengthen the connection between sales and marketing, we are creating a Sales Operations Manager role. This individual will lead the implementation and adoption of sales systems, ensure data integrity, and drive performance through process optimization and cross-functional collaboration.

Role Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing Best Roofing’s CRM ecosystem and supporting the operational infrastructure behind our sales and marketing engine. This role will lead the implementation of HubSpot, refine and document sales processes, and provide ongoing administrative support and reporting.

The ideal candidate is systems-savvy, process-oriented, and able to bridge the gap between sales execution and marketing strategy. This position will be a central point of coordination across the sales team, external marketing partners, and leadership—ensuring our CRM and data tools empower scalable, predictable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM Implementation & Administration • Lead the end-to-end implementation of HubSpot CRM, including configuration, pipeline setup, and user onboarding • Build and maintain sales processes and workflows within the CRM that align with Best Roofing’s sales strategy • Provide ongoing CRM administration, including user access, automation rules, and system updates • Ensure the successful migration of historical data from our current CRM (FollowUp) into HubSpot

Sales Operations & Process Optimization • Refine and document sales processes, from lead capture to deal close, to support consistency, efficiency, and accountability • Monitor CRM data integrity and compliance, ensuring accurate records, activity logging, and timely updates by all team members

• Analyze and optimize sales workflows to remove bottlenecks and reduce administrative burden • Train and support sales team members on CRM usage, tools, and reporting best practices

Lead Management & Performance Reporting • Ensure all leads, from marketing campaigns and inbound channels, are properly captured and routed within HubSpot • Build and maintain sales dashboards and reports to track activity, lead generation, opportunity flow, and marketing campaign performance • Provide regular reporting to sales and executive leadership to guide strategy and identify areas for improvement

Sales-Marketing Alignment • Act as a liaison between the sales team and Rizen, our external marketing agency, to ensure alignment on campaigns, messaging, and lead management • Collaborate with marketing to assemble sales data that supports campaign targeting, effectiveness analysis, and market segmentation • Support the execution and tracking of sales enablement initiatives, including email campaigns, automation sequences, and content delivery

• CRM Adoption & Integrity: HubSpot is fully implemented, consistently used by the team, and maintained with clean, accurate data • Sales Efficiency: Sales workflows are clearly defined, properly documented, and optimized to reduce friction • Reporting & Insight Delivery: Sales and marketing leadership receive timely, actionable insights to inform business decisions • Lead Flow Visibility: All inbound and outbound leads are captured, assigned, and visible in HubSpot, supporting real-time pipeline tracking • Collaboration: Marketing and sales teams are in sync, with clear communication and shared goals

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, CRM administration, or revenue operations in a B2B or construction-related environment • Demonstrated experience implementing or managing a CRM system (HubSpot strongly preferred) • Strong knowledge of sales workflows, data structure, and process optimization • Experience working with or supporting sales and marketing teams collaboratively • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot, and other relevant reporting/automation tools • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • High attention to detail, with a passion for clean data and process improvement • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
