The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the technical BA team in supporting the delivery of product features across the AP+ agile engineering teams. As the Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that product requirements are well documented for development by the cross functional development teams, acting as the conduit between the product management and development teams, and contributing to the consistency and quality of the AP+ technical business analyst practice.

Proposed Position Responsibilities are:

• Consult with product owners and product managers to identify solution options to new business requirements.
• Consult with product owners and product managers to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing solutions.
• Analyse business workflows to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvements.
• Produce appropriate functional and non-functional specs (such as in the form of user stories for different personas, wireframes, epics) for product changes and enhancements.
• Analyse and document user requirements to effectively communicate insights to both development teams and key business stakeholders
• Prepare training material and assistance to end customers.
• Create user stories with clear acceptance criteria, in line with the requirements of the Product Owner and support the prioritisation of backlog
• Develop and improve technical business analysis practices and standards to ensure consistency of quality and productivity.
• Develop technical BA adaptive tools, processes, templates, etc.
• Mentor other technical business analysts.
• Champion identification of risks and dependencies of all proposed solution options

The capabilities we’re seeking are:

• Experience with payment vendor applications (e.g. FIS , Swift and paytec)
• Experience in ISO 20022/ NPP
• Proven experience in a Solution Design/ Technical BA background.
• Use of Waterfall and agile methodologies
• Expert knowledge of ISO 20022 standard
• Expert knowledge of at least one payment scheme
• Knowledge of high-availability design, contingency and resilience is a plus
