The Role:

The EPMO Tools Administrator is responsible for maintaining, developing and administering the set of tools owned by the EPMO, specifically Jira and Confluence. This role will provide administration and support to the EPMO team to ensure the quality and consistency of the structure of the EPMO tools, and the project data within. This role will support the broader delivery team with setup and use of EPMO tools. Ongoing optimization and enhancement of Jira usage, reporting and dashboards. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate project data management, supporting governance forums, reporting activities, and supporting project teams with administration and tool usage.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with an interest in project management and the payments industry.

Proposed Role Responsibilities are:

• Optimisae Jira usage, including uplifting workflows, configuration, automation, reporting and team efficiency.
• Assist the EPMO and delivery teams with setup and usage of EPMO tools.
• Provide training and guidance on EPMO tool usage.
• Maintain accurate project data in project management tools and systems e.g., Jira, Confluence.
• Manage project document control, templates, and artefact repositories in line with EPMO standards.
• Support onboarding of new project resources to EPMO processes, governance, and tools.
• Provide general project administration support to project teams across AP+.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across EPMO processes and tools.

Proposed Position Requirements are:

• Previous experience in a project administrator, PMO coordinator, or similar role (preferably within financial services or payments industry).
• Experience in managing project documentation, reporting, and governance processes.
• Experience in JIRA Administration tasks such as workflow customization, user management, and system configuration.
• Understanding of project management frameworks and governance processes.
• Familiarity with Jira’s operating model, including issue types, workflows, schemes, and the underlying configuration architecture.
• Familiarity with reporting tools and data management.
