GTM Engineer
Job Description
About Auror
At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.
Founded in New Zealand 11 years ago, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re using technology for good.
In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.
We're also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact—whether that's enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we're committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.
The Role
We’re rebuilding our go-to-market engine, and we’re looking for a hands-on GTM Engineer to help us lay the operational foundation for scalable, insight-driven growth. This is a builder role—perfect for someone who loves working across marketing, sales, and RevOps to connect the dots between strategy, systems, and performance.
You’ll be responsible for standing up our marketing reporting capability, orchestrating and optimizing demand and ABM programs, and delivering the insights we need to accelerate pipeline generation and conversion.
Your Mission: To build the systems, reporting, and operational muscle that power a high-performing, insight-led marketing engine. This role exists to make our marketing efforts measurable, repeatable, and impactful—enabling the team to generate pipeline at scale, align tightly with sales, and make smarter decisions, faster.
Practically this will involve:
- Stand up end-to-end marketing reporting across channels, campaigns, and funnel stages—from first touch to opportunity conversion.
- Build and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into performance, uncover trends, and support real-time decision-making.
- Partner with RevOps to ensure accurate attribution, funnel tracking, and alignment between marketing and sales systems.
- Orchestrate demand gen and ABM campaigns, ensuring flawless execution and cross-functional coordination.
- Share insights with sales to drive pipeline velocity—highlighting what’s working, where prospects are engaging, and how to act on it.
- Own campaign operations—from segmentation and list building to execution and optimization—in collaboration with growth marketing and program leads.
- Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with RevOps to identify and implement automation, tooling, and workflow enhancements.
- Ensure data hygiene and integrity across platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Mutiny, etc.).
You’ll be reporting to Heather Gadonniex, Acting Chief Marketing Officer
I’ve spent the last two decades helping growth-stage companies find their focus, align their teams, and build go-to-market systems that scale without losing their magic. I’m an operator and builder by nature, and I love co-creating clarity with teams and setting a high bar for performance and purpose.
I’m passionate about helping marketing teams become market makers and revenue engines, not just service departments. I’m also a big believer in unifying cross-functional teams around a common vision and operating cadence, maintaining collaboration and strengthening culture as we grow. At Auror, I’m excited to recruit team members that thrive in collaborative environments and want to play a critical role in shaping our next chapter of our growth.
Outside of work, I spend my time on our intergenerational family vineyard wrangling two boys, enjoy a slow-food meal paired with good wine and good people, and attempting to get my daily dose of mindfulness and exercise through yoga and pilates.
We're looking for someone who
- Has experience in marketing operations, campaign management, performance marketing, or similar roles in B2B SaaS or high-growth environments.
- Knows their way around CRM, MAP, and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, GA4, Looker/Tableau, etc.).
- Loves solving problems and building systems that scale.
- Can zoom in on campaign performance one moment and zoom out to strategic GTM alignment the next.
- Is comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing without authority.
- Has strong analytical chops and a bias for action—you turn insights into impact.
We are looking for people who demonstrate a strong alignment to our Guiding Principles (you can find these on our Careers page).
Auror is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible application process to all candidates and we are actively working to improve diversity within the tech industry. We celebrate diversity and inclusiveness at Auror, regardless of (but not limited to) race, gender, sexual orientation, family status, religion, ethnicity, national origin, physical disability, veteran status, or age.
If you need adjustments to any part of our recruitment process because of accessibility reasons, please do not hesitate to let us know during the application process. We will work with you to identify adjustments that will allow you to perform at your best.
- Competitive salary Range: Depending on level of experience, between $97,500 - $120,000 (IC3)
- Annual bonus: discretionary bonus based on company revenue targets
- Employee share scheme: You’ll own part of a company making a real difference!
- Flexibility: We are hard-working and outcome focused, but recognise there is more to life than work. We promote a healthy work/life blend.
- Shorter work weeks (at full pay): Everyone gets Friday afternoons off, so you can start your weekend early, and do more of whatever it is that makes you happy.
- Focus on mental and physical health: We understand how vital our health is and have policies to support your wellness, including: Wellness Days, and up to three expert sessions paid for every year.
- Family-friendly: We offer comprehensive parental leave and benefits for primary and non-primary caregivers, including a baby bonus and meals delivered to your door.
- Personal growth: We support our team to participate in courses, conferences, or events that will help them develop their skills.
- Team love: We have regular team lunches and social events where most (if not all) activities are during work hours.
